Jane Meriwether 
Jane was born on April 3rd, 1757.1 Jane's father was Thomas Meriwether and her mother was Elizabeth Thornton. Her maternal grandparents were Francis Thornton and Mary Taliaferro. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Nicholas, Francis, David, Thomas, Mary, Sarah, Anne, Lucy, Mildred and Elizabeth.1 General Notes
