Nicholas Meriwether 
Nicholas was born on September 7th, 1736.1 Nicholas' father was Thomas Meriwether and his mother was Elizabeth Thornton. His maternal grandparents were Francis Thornton and Mary Taliaferro. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Francis, David, Thomas, Mary, Sarah, Anne, Lucy, Mildred, Jane and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 36 on December 19th, 1772.1 General Notes
