John Wilson 
John was born on December 24th, 1808 in North Carolina. John's father was John Wilson and his mother was Sarah Skeen. His maternal grandparents were Matthew Skeen and Ruth Lamar. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Joel, Durham, Eli, Matthew Skeen, Ruth, Nancy, Martha and Sarah. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
