Durham Wilson 
Durham was born in 1804 in North Carolina. Durham's father was John Wilson and his mother was Sarah Skeen. His maternal grandparents were Matthew Skeen and Ruth Lamar. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Joel, John, Eli, Matthew Skeen, Ruth, Nancy, Martha and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.-
