Louis Hottel 
Louis was born on July 6th, 1880 in Fredericksburg, Washington County, Indiana. Louis 's father was Levi Pitman Hottel and his mother was Anett Horner. His paternal grandparents were Peter Hottel and Elizabeth Pitman; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Horner and Mary Leah "Polly" Andrew. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Milton Benton, Walter E., Wilbur W., Lillian (Lillie) Mae and Flora Anita. He was the youngest of the six children.General Notes
Louis Hottel and Myrtle Clark Hottel lived in Chicago, Illinois where Louis was with the Vulcan Rubber Company. They moved to Erie, Pennsylvania where he was a merchant and manufacturer.
