Peter was born on July 2nd, 1805 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Peter 's father was John Conrad Hottel and his mother was Barbara Funkhouser. His paternal grandparents were David Hottel and Margaret UNKNOWN. He was an only child. He died at the age of 71 on October 19th, 1876.General Notes
