Eliza Shafer 
Eliza was born in 1853 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UT.1 Eliza's father was John O Shafer and her mother was Hannah Casto. Her maternal grandparents were Abel Casto and Mary Polly Galland. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Orson William, John Henry, Oliver, James Alma, Frank, Charles, Mary Adaline, Eleanor and Maybell. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.-
