Abel Casto 
Abel was born in 1790 in , Cumberland, NJ.1 Abel's father was Azariah Casto and his mother was Hannah Golden. His paternal grandparents were William Casto and Purthenia Purple; his maternal grandparents were John Golden and Rebecca Unknown. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Mary Polly and Hannah Casto. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 50 on December 15th, 1840 in Nauvoo, Hancock, IL.1 -
