Azariah Casto 
Azariah was born in 1750 in Deerfield, Cumberland, NJ.1 Azariah's father was William Casto and his mother was Purthenia Purple. His paternal grandparents were William Casto and Elizabeth Abbott; his maternal grandfather was John Purple. He had a brother and two sisters, named Abel, Elizabeth and Lidea. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had nine half-brothers named John, Andrew, David, Jonathan, Jeremiah, William, Jacob, Thomas and Abijah. He died at the age of 62 on October 16th, 1812 in , Madison, OH.1 -
