Henry III was born on October 1st, 1207 in Winchester Castle, Hampshire, England.1   Henry III's father was John Lackland Plantagenet King of England and his mother was Isabella Taillefer.  His paternal grandparents were Henry II Plantagenet and Eleanor de Aquitaine Dss de Aquitaine; his maternal grandparents were Aymer Taillefer de Valence Ct de Angoulême and Alice de Courtenay. He had a brother and three sisters, named Richard Angevin, Joan, Isabella Eliz and Alianor. He had eleven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Oliver, Henry, Ivo, Richard, Osbert, Eudo Fitz, Geoffrey Fitz, Richard FitzJohn of Dover, John FitzJohn, Hugh de Lusignan, William de Valence, Matilda, Joanna and Alice Brun.  He died at the age of 65 on November 16th, 1272 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.  He was buried in Westminster Abbey, London, Middlesex, England.1
