Robert McFerran 
Robert was born on June 8th, 1850 in Edwards, St Lawrence, NY. Robert's father was Samuel McFerran and his mother was Mary Ellen Beggs. His maternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, John, Hugh, James Henry, Sarah, Mary Ellen and Nancy Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 61 on January 24th, 1912 in Morris, Manitoba, Canada. He was buried in 1912 in Morris Cemetery, Morris, Manitoba, Canada.-
