John McFerran 
John was born on July 3rd, 1852 in Edwards, St Lawrence, NY. John's father was Samuel McFerran and his mother was Mary Ellen Beggs. His maternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, Robert, Hugh, James Henry, Sarah, Mary Ellen and Nancy Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on October 22nd, 1929 in Pleasant Valley, Ontario, Canada. He was buried in 1929 in Hainsville Cemetery, Matilda, Dundas, Ontario, Canada.-
