Hugh McFerran 
Hugh was born on February 28th, 1854 in Edwards, St Lawrence, NY. Hugh's father was Samuel McFerran and his mother was Mary Ellen Beggs. His maternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, Robert, John, James Henry, Sarah, Mary Ellen and Nancy Jane. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on December 25th, 1931 in Edwards, St Lawrence, NY. He was buried in 1931 in Riverside Cemetery, Edwards, St Lawrence, NY.-
