Philip II Hohenstaufen of was born about 1176.1   Philip II Hohenstaufen of's father was Frederick I Barbarossa Holy Roman Emp and his mother was Beatrix de Burgundy.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick II von Hohenstaufen Duke of Swabia and Judith of Bavaria; his maternal grandparents were Rainald III Ct de Burgundy & Macon and Agathe de Lorraine. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry VI Hohenstaufen of Sicily and Beatrice.  He died  due to Murdered by Otto Wittelsbach at Bramburg. on June 21st, 1208 in Bamberg.1
