Bertha was born on September 21st, 1051 in of Maurienne, Savoie, Italy.1 Bertha's father was Oddone de Maurienne de Savoie Ct de Savoie and her mother was Adelais de Suza. Her paternal grandparents were Humbert I Whitehands de Maurienne Ct de Savoie and Ancelie von Lenzburg; her maternal grandparents were Olderic Manfred II de Suza Mar de Suza & Turin and Bertha de Ivrea. She had a brother named Amadeus II de Maurienne. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 36 on December 27th, 1087.1 -
