David Roy Christie 
David Roy was born in 1921. David Roy's father was Steward Arthur Christie and his mother was Mary Myrtle Beggs. His maternal grandparents were William Thomas Beggs and Margaret Jane Hess. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Arnold Russell, Bazil Cecil, William Gordon, Donald Clifford, Lyle Harold, Orville Howard, Living, Ruby Beatrice Marguerite, Edith Eleanor May, Lillian Velma and Florence Alice Pearl.-
