Samuel Beggs 
Samuel was born on February 19th, 1832 in Ireland. Samuel's father was Robert Beggs and his mother was Janet (Jennie) Magee. His paternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had eight brothers and a sister, named James, William James, Thomas, Robert, Hugh, John, Joseph, Hugh and Margaret. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 71 on December 10th, 1903 in Heckston, Grenville, Ontario, Canada. He was buried in South Mountain Union.-
