Margaret was born on April 7th, 1851 in Mountain, Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Margaret's father was Robert Beggs and her mother was Janet (Jennie) Magee. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. She had nine brothers named Samuel, James, William James, Thomas, Robert, Hugh, John, Joseph and Hugh. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 92 on May 16th, 1943 in Emerson, Manitoba, Canada.-
