William James Beggs 
William James was born in 1838 in South Mountain, Dundas, Ontario, Canada. William James' father was Robert Beggs and his mother was Janet (Jennie) Magee. His paternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Samuel, James, Thomas, Robert, Hugh, John, Joseph, Hugh and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 79 on February 27th, 1917 in Shakopee, Scott, MN.1 -
