Ankaret le Strange was born in 1361 in Blackmere, Cornwall, England.1 Ankaret le Strange's father was John le Strange IX Lord Strange of Blackmere and her mother was Mary (Isabel) FitzAlan. Her paternal grandparents were John le Strange VIII Lord Strange of Blackmere and Ankaret le Boteler; her maternal grandparents were Richard FitzAlan II Earl of Arundel and Isabel le Despenser. She had a brother named John. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 52 on June 1st, 1413.2 -
