William Edwin Summer 
William Edwin was born on February 19th, 1856.1 William Edwin's father was Henry Summer and his mother was Frances (Fannie) Mayer. His paternal grandparents were John Adam "Peg Leg" Summer and Mary Margaret Houseal. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Nicholas, John Adam, Mary Caroline and Catherine Elvira (Kate). He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 13 in August 1869. He was buried in Summer Graveyard #1, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1 -
