Catherine Elvira (Kate) Summer 
Catherine Elvira (Kate) was born on March 14th, 1858.1 Catherine Elvira (Kate)'s father was Henry Summer and her mother was Frances (Fannie) Mayer. Her paternal grandparents were John Adam "Peg Leg" Summer and Mary Margaret Houseal. She had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas Nicholas, John Adam, William Edwin and Mary Caroline. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 80 on June 19th, 1938. She was buried in Summer Graveyard #1, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1 -
