John Adam Summer 
John Adam was born on June 26th, 1851.1 John Adam's father was Henry Summer and his mother was Frances (Fannie) Mayer. His paternal grandparents were John Adam "Peg Leg" Summer and Mary Margaret Houseal. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Nicholas, William Edwin, Mary Caroline and Catherine Elvira (Kate). He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 83 on September 27th, 1934. He was buried in Summer Graveyard #1, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1 -
