Noah Z. Sease
Noah Zebedee Sease, 82, of 2713 Columbia Ave., retired Trainmaster with
the C.N. and L. Railroad, died Monday afternoon in the Providence
Hospital after an illness of a few hours.
Mrs. Sease was born in Chapin, S.C. a son of hte late Noah Andrews and
Catherine Angela Epting Sease. He was employed with the C.N. & L.
Railroad 52 years, retiring in 1955.
Mrs. Sease was a Charter member of the Lutheran Church of the
Reformation, former Treasurer of the Church, honorary member of the
Church Council, member of the Men's Bible Class and the Lutheran Church
Mem of the Reformation Lutheran Church. He was also a charter member of
Earlwood Lodge No 271, A.F.M.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Catherine Sease, Columbia; three sons,
Fred Sease of Columbia, Kenneth Sease and Norman Sease, both of
Charlotte; a sister, Mrs. Jim Summers of Chapin. Also surviving are four
grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Dunbar Funeral Home,
Gervais Street Chapel.
