Ava Ella was born on January 4th, 1872 in Lexington County, SC.1 Ava Ella's father was Andrew Noah Sease and her mother was Angela Catherine Epting. Her paternal grandparents were John C. Sease and Christina Bearberg Lowman. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named George Edward, John Adam, Andrew Hugh, Noah Zebedee, Thomas Earl, Luther Trenton, Jessie Hampton, Emma Elizabeth, Frances Christina, Mary, Josephene Catherine, Martha Anna (Detch) and Loretta Jane. She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 96 on February 23rd, 1968 in Chapin, SC. She was buried on February 25th, 1968 in Mt. CHAPIN - Mrs. Ava Ella Sease Summer, 96, died today at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Mt.Horeb Lutheran
Church conducted by the Rev. E.A. Kasher. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Summer was born in Lexington County, the daughter of the late Angela
Epting Sease and Andrew Noah Sease.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Eva Summer; a son, Leland Summer of
Prosperity; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence and Caughman-Harman Funeral Home.
