Mary Permilla was born on March 12th, 1916 in Prosperity, SC.1 Mary Permilla's father was John Adam Sease and her mother was Polly Aurelia Stoudemire. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Noah Sease and Angela Catherine Epting. She had five brothers and a sister, named Elton Counts (Yank), Thomas Murl, Ralph Epting, John Carlton, George Andrew and Grace Elea. She was the youngest of the seven children.-
