Elton Counts (Yank) was born on February 23rd, 1902 in Donalds, SC.1 Elton Counts (Yank)'s father was John Adam Sease and his mother was Polly Aurelia Stoudemire. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Noah Sease and Angela Catherine Epting. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Murl, Ralph Epting, John Carlton, George Andrew, Grace Elea and Mary Permilla. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died due to Kidney Failure at the age of 53 on May 28th, 1955 in Columbia, SC. He was buried in Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, SC.1 1 General Notes

E.C. Sease's Funeral Today
Funeral services for Elton Counts Seae, 53, of 2614 Duncan St., senior
testing engineer for the State Highway Department who died Saturday, will
be conducted at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the Dunbar Funeral Home.
The Rev. George E. Meetze, pastor of the Lutheran Church of the
Incarnation, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Prosperity Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Dr. Horace M. Kaiser, John B. Patrick, R.C. Aiken,
B.K. Hiller, A.C. Richardson, Jr., and Dr. C.K. Wheeler of Prosperity.
Honorary pallbearers are Carl Weldon, Claude Creason, Sr., Maurice
Alcorn, Robert Stoudenmire, Claude R. McMillan, L.W. Herriot, Jeff
McMahon, C.E. Andrews Jr., W.A. Dial, T.M. Crawford, G.W.Moore, L.J.
Carleo, B.B. Fulmer, Jack Ward, A.A. Avgermos, Arthur McLees, Silas

Mr. Sease, who died at 11:05 Saturday morning at Columbia Hospital, was
born in Donalds, son of Aurelia Stoudemire and the late J.A. Sease. He
formerly lived in Prosperity. He was a graduate of Clemson College,
class of 1925, and was an outstanding track star, winning many honors.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation and a member of
the Men's Bible class. He was also a member of the Prosperity Masonic
lodge.
Survivors include his mother, of Prosperity; two sons, Lt. E.C. Sease,
Jr., of the Air Force, and John David Sease, a Clemson student; two
sisters, Miss Grace Sease of Columbia and Prosperity and Mrs. H.F.
Richardson of Columbia; three brothers, R.E. Sease of Savannah, Ga.,
Cmdr. J.C. Sease, Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers in Europe, Paris,
France; and Maj. G.A. Sease, Munich, Germany.
Funeral services will be held from the Dunbar Funeral Home Monday
afternoon at 3 o'clock with interment in the Prosperity Cemetery.
