John Irby Sease 
John Irby was born on September 30th, 1853.1 John Irby's father was John Leonard (Lyn) Sease and his mother was Martha Elizabeth Fike. His paternal grandparents were John C. Sease and Christina Bearberg Lowman. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named James Hammond, Edward Lee, Thomas Sidney, Elizabeth (Cousin Lizzie), Alma, Frances M. (Fannie), Ann M., Mary Ella (Mallie), Carrie Verina, Agnes Lily (Lillie) and Eunice. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died due to Mitral Insufficiency at the age of 77 on March 7th, 1931 in Bur St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pomaria, SC. He was buried in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pomaria, SC.1 1 -
