Carrie Verina was born on July 21st, 1865 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 Carrie Verina's father was John Leonard (Lyn) Sease and her mother was Martha Elizabeth Fike. Her paternal grandparents were John C. Sease and Christina Bearberg Lowman. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named John Irby, James Hammond, Edward Lee, Thomas Sidney, Elizabeth (Cousin Lizzie), Alma, Frances M. (Fannie), Ann M., Mary Ella (Mallie), Agnes Lily (Lillie) and Eunice. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 92 on February 4th, 1958 in Bur Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, SC. She was buried in Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, SC.1 1 -
