Asa Melanthion Sease 
Asa Melanthion was born on September 16th, 1833.1 Asa Melanthion's father was John C. Sease and his mother was Christina Bearberg Lowman. His paternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John Leonard (Lyn), Dan, Jesse Isaac, John Calvin, Luther, Andrew Noah, Mary Caroline, Elizabeth, Katharine Kissiah, Eliza and Martha Ann Mehaily. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 78 on January 22nd, 1912 in bur Epting Fam Cem. He was buried in Epting Family Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
