Alvin Francis was born on May 14th, 1914.1 Alvin Francis' father was Walter Ernest Riser and his mother was Jessie Blanche Frick. His paternal grandparents were Willie Lanford Riser and Mary Susan Emma Shealy. He had a brother and a sister, named Walter Glenn and Edith Miriam. He was the oldest of the three children.-
