John Riser 
John was born on November 11th, 1787 in Newberry County, South Carolina.1 John's father was Martin Riser and his mother was Christina Sease. His maternal grandparents were Christopher Sease and Susannah Anhaus. He had a brother and four sisters, named Martin, Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie), Catherine (Kate), Eva and Christina. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 64 on December 3rd, 1851 in Newberry County, SC. He was buried in Riser Cemetery, Pomaria, SC.1 1 -
