Hugh Of Kevelioc, Earl Of Chester 
Hugh was born in 1147 in Kevelioc, Co Monmouth.1 Hugh's father was Ranulf Earl Of Chester, Vicomte D'Avranches and his mother was Maud De CAEN. His paternal grandparents were Ranulph III De MESCHINES, Earl Of Chester and Lucia Of East Angies; his maternal grandparents were Robert The Consul De CAEN, Earl Of Gloucester and Maud FITZ HAMOND. He was an only child. He died at the age of 34 on June 30th, 1181 in Leeke, Co Stafford.1 General Notes
