Adelaide was born about 1009.1 Adelaide's father was Robert II The Pious King Of France and her mother was Constance Of Provence. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh CAPET, King Of France and Adelaide Of Poitou; her maternal grandparents were William I Count Of Aries And Provence and Adelaide (Blanch) Of Anjou. She had two brothers and a sister, named Henry I, Robert The Old and Adele. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died in Messina. She was buried in Messina.1 1 General Notes
