Hugh's father was Hugh Magnus Duke Of The Franks, Count Of Paris and his mother was Hedwig Of Saxony. His paternal grandparents were Robert I Duke Of France and Beatrix De VERMANDOIS; his maternal grandparents were Henry I The Fowler King Of The Saxons and Mechtilde Of Ringleheim. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Beatrix. He died in Les Juifs B Chartres. He was buried in St. Denis.1 1 General Notes
