Her paternal grandparents were Charlemagne King Of France and Hildegarde Of Swabia, Countess Of Vinzgau; her maternal grandparents were Graf von Altsdorf Welf and Heilwig of Saxony. She had a brother named Charles II The Bald. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Lothair I, Charles II, Aupals, Mathilda, Rotrud and Gisela.
