Robert The Old was born about 1011.1 Robert The Old's father was Robert II The Pious King Of France and his mother was Constance Of Provence. His paternal grandparents were Hugh CAPET, King Of France and Adelaide Of Poitou; his maternal grandparents were William I Count Of Aries And Provence and Adelaide (Blanch) Of Anjou. He had a brother and two sisters, named Henry I, Adele and Adelaide. He was the youngest of the four children. He died in Fleurey-Sur-Ouche.1 General Notes
