Her maternal grandparents were James Cook Winter and Serepta Ann Glenn. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry Winter, James Parker (Jim), George Shaffer, Anna Alberta, Sara Fleda, Rosa Milly and Susan Beulah. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 57 in 1938 in Westminster, Oconee Co, SC.1 -
