James Parker (Jim) was born on December 18th, 1886 in Westminster, Oconee Co., SC.1 James Parker (Jim)'s father was Joseph Parker McDonald and his mother was Julia Ann Sarepta Frances Winter. His maternal grandparents were James Cook Winter and Serepta Ann Glenn. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry Winter, George Shaffer, Anna Alberta, Sara Fleda, Sarepta Glenn (Seppie), Rosa Milly and Susan Beulah. He was the third youngest of the eight children.-
