Isabella was born on October 9th, 1200 in Pembroke Castle, Wales.1 Isabella's father was Sir and her mother was Isabel de Clare Cts of Strigoil. Her paternal grandparents were John FitzGilbert and Sibyl de Evereux de Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Strongbow" FitzGilbert de Clare and Aoife (Eva) macDermot macMurrough. She had three sisters named Maud, Sibilla and Eva. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died in Berkhamsted Castle, Hertfordshire, England/Berkhamsted, England.1 General Notes
