Mary Alice Koon 
Mary Alice was born on September 4th, 1858 in Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Mary Alice's father was Absalom Koon and her mother was Lavinia A. Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were William Taylor and Elizabeth Dominick. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William John, James H., Wiley Harrison, George W., Luther M., Permillia and Frances Melissa. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 35 on June 19th, 1894 in Lake City, Columbia County, Florida.1 -
