James H. Koon 
James H. was born in 1853 in South Carolina.1 James H.'s father was Absalom Koon and his mother was Lavinia A. Taylor. His maternal grandparents were William Taylor and Elizabeth Dominick. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William John, Wiley Harrison, George W., Luther M., Permillia, Mary Alice and Frances Melissa. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 39 on August 21st, 1892.1 -
