Robert I 'le Frison' was born in 1033 in Flanders.1 Robert I 'le Frison''s father was Baudouin V the Pious Ct of Flanders and his mother was Adela (Alix) Capet de France Cts of Contenance. His paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV "Fair Beard" Ct of Flanders and Ogive de Luxemburg; his maternal grandparents were Robert II Capet the Pious King of France and Constance de Toulouse. He had a brother and a sister, named Baudouin I de Flandre and Matilda (Maud). He died at the age of 60 on October 3rd, 1093 in Kassel, Germany.1 -
