J.F. Gordon was born on September 11th, 1915 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 J.F. Gordon's father was George Nicholas Boland and his mother was Nancy Isabelle Shealy. His paternal grandparents were James Middleton Boland and Laura A. J. Koon; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Shealy and Mary Ann Magdaline Shealy. He was an only child. He died at the age of 54 on March 27th, 1970. He was buried in Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 -
