Helena Augusta Victoria was born on May 25th, 1846. Helena Augusta Victoria's father was Albert Augustus Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and her mother was Victoria Hanover. Her paternal grandfather was Ernest I Saxe-Coburg; her maternal grandparents were Edward Augustus Hanover and Victoria Mary Louisa von Saxe-Coburg. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward VII, Alfred Ernest Albert, Arthur William Patrick, Leopold George Duncan Albert, Victoria Adelaide Mary, Alice Maud Mary, Louise Caroline Alberta and Beatrice Mary Victoria. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
