William Shepherd Thurston

William Shepherd was born on August 10th, 1832 in Pettis Co., MO.  William Shepherd's father was William R. Thurston and his mother was Mary Walker.  His paternal grandparents were John Thurston and Jane Page; his maternal grandparents were Shadrack Walker and Hannah Shephard. He had a brother and a sister, named Reuben and Susannah.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 64 on February 7th, 1897 in Benton Co., Missouri.
