William R. Thurston

William R. was born on August 10th, 1796 in Goochland Co., VA.  William R.'s father was John Thurston and his mother was Jane Page.  His paternal grandparents were Francis Thurston and Hester Richards; his maternal grandparents were William Page and Agnes Houchins. He had two brothers named John and Reuben. He had two half-sisters named Betsy and Mary.  He died at the age of 62 on March 28th, 1859 in Benton Co., Missouri.
