Susannah Thurston 
Susannah was born about 1816 in Goochland Co., Virginia. Susannah's father was William R. Thurston and her mother was Mary Walker. Her paternal grandparents were John Thurston and Jane Page; her maternal grandparents were Shadrack Walker and Hannah Shephard. She had two brothers named Reuben and William Shepherd. She was the oldest of the three children.
