Unity Stanley 
Unity was born on August 19th, 1799 in Virginia.1 Unity's father was Thomas Stanley and her mother was Unity Crew. Her paternal grandparents were John Stanley and Martha Hutchins; her maternal grandparents were James Crew and Judith Harris. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Moses, John, James, Joseph, Benjamin Thomas, Thomas Crew, Temperance, Judith and Abigail. She was the second youngest of the ten children.-
