Martha was born in 1709 in Henrico Co., VA. Martha's father was Nicholas Hutchins and her mother was Mary Watkins. Her paternal grandparents were John Hutchins and Polly Strangeman; her maternal grandparents were Henry Watkins and Mary Crispe. She had a brother and two sisters, named Strangeman, Catherine and Mary. She had a half-brother named Jacob. She died at the age of 80 on May 28th, 1789 in Cedar Creek, Hanover Co., VA.-
